Membership & Before & After School Programming

Welcome!

Pre-Teen Membership

An annual membership at the Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket allows pre-teens to access our out-of-school time programs and activities whenever the Club is open to drop-in members. With access to programs in our priority areas – Academic Success, Confident Self-Expression through the Arts, Good Character & Citizenship, and Healthy Lifestyles, members are able to grow and learn through fun and engaging activities at the Club.

Activities & Meals

All activities for youth ages 6-12 are designed to be age-appropriate and are delivered on an hourly schedule created to provide the structure that helps children succeed. Not only do we have separate program areas for our pre-teen and teen members, we also break our pre-teen members into age groups for participation in most activities. We work hard to ensure that they are able to receive the full benefit of Club programs in an age-appropriate way, and in a manner that ensures full adult supervision at all times, and within a 13:1 member to staff ratio.

Every member also receives a nutritious hot evening meal each day at the Club. This meal is provided at no additional charge and is designed to fuel our members so they can get the most out of participating in Club programs.

Childcare & More

For parents who need more than our drop-in hours provide, our Childcare Program is available both before and after school (including transportation to and from school) for an additional fee.

We work hard to ensure that any child who could benefit from our programs and services is able to attend the Club. If you cannot afford the membership fee, please ask about scholarship assistance. For more information, please call the Club at 401-722-8840, option 1.

The best way to learn about all the amazing things the Club can do for your child is to schedule a tour – please come see us today – we know you will be impressed!

Activities

All activities for youth ages 13-18 are designed to be age-appropriate. The CLUB Teen Center is a separate space which allows our teens to learn, grow and just hangout in their own dedicated area.

We work hard to ensure that they are able to receive the full benefit of Club programs and that they always have access to a caring adult staff member who can listen, offer guidance or advice, and help members set goals and then create pathways to realizing those goals.
